I’m Michelle Petteys
I have always loved taking pictures. When my children were younger, my husband bought me a “real” camera one Christmas to take pictures of our family and the kids’ events. That started the photography bug.
I teach Spanish at Heritage High School in Ringgold, Georgia. When my son was on the football team, I was lucky enough to be allowed on the field to take pictures during games. That eventually grew into me becoming the official events photographer for the school and a huge photography contributor of our yearbook. That is how Heritage Snapshots was born!
Several years ago, I was asked if I could take some pictures of a group of students for their senior year and what I would charge. Having bought portraits of my own children, I knew how expensive it can be and wanted to offer something for those who might not want or be able to afford a more “professional” package. As I do still consider myself an amateur, I have continued this approach into other areas. My mission is to provide a quality product at a reasonable rate and to let you have all the pictures to use as you see fit.
